Dr William Dawson

A doctor who has seen health from both sides.

Not just as a clinician. As a patient. As a CEO. As someone who spent years building a career with enormous structure and intention, and not enough of either applied to his own health.

Why I do this work

I have spent nearly two decades in medicine. I trained as a GP, led clinical teams, and eventually became the Chief Executive of a multi-site healthcare organisation, responsible for NHS and private services, digital health, governance, and the wellbeing of hundreds of staff and thousands of patients.

From the outside, I had healthcare figured out.

From the inside, I was doing what most ambitious people do. Prioritising performance. Managing demands. Telling myself I would focus on my health when things slowed down.

Then I experienced serious illness personally.

It changed the way I think about health entirely, not as something to manage when it goes wrong, but as something worth understanding deeply, protecting deliberately, and investing in long before it becomes urgent.

That is what The Hundred Society is built on.

I am not here to run tests or hand you a report. I am here to be the adviser I wish I had found earlier — someone who can look at your health with clinical rigour, translate what it actually means, and help you build a clear, structured plan to improve it.

Most people who come to me are not unwell. They are successful, health-conscious, and already making effort, exercising, taking supplements, tracking their data, reading the books.

And yet they still feel like something is missing.

Not more information. More clarity. A strategy. Someone to look at everything together and tell them honestly what matters, what to prioritise, and what to do next.

That is the gap I exist to fill.

I bring to this work something that very few advisers can offer: nearly twenty years of clinical experience, combined with executive leadership at board level in healthcare organisations, and a personal understanding of what it means to face your own health from the other side of the consulting room.

I do not offer generic programmes. I work with a small number of clients at any one time, which means your plan is genuinely built around you, your biology, your life, your goals.

This is not a GP appointment.

It is not a wellness programme.

It is something different.

What clients say…

After working with Will over the last year I have learnt so much about myself and how I function. I really appreciate it.

Will was able to analyse and clearly explain all of the results, and went on to offer excellent lifestyle advice. All the advice felt personalised around my own commitments and priorities, as well as being realistic for me to achieve. I found the experience very informative and feel motivated to make these positive changes moving forward.

I will continue with the good work. It has been an interesting year for me and I am now happy with where I am and how to cope with not only the outside, but also the inside.
